Community adaptation on the island of Samoa
|
Representatives of 8 villages from across Samoa joined a participatory video workshop to explore the impacts of climate change on the islands and to document the community's efforts to adpat and cope. The process helped build bridges between youth and elders, men and women, high chiefs and untitled men. Funded by UNDP GEF Small Grants Programme and screened locally as well as several international conferences to promote the importance of community-based adaptation.
